Northern Air Maintenance Services, LLC (NAMS), headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station that provides aircraft maintenance, ground operations, inventory control, and other related support services for an oil company that flies to Kuparuk and Alpine. In addition to providing maintenance for three (3) DHC-8-400 (Q400) aircraft, NAMS provides all below wing services including baggage handling and screening, aircraft catering, aircraft marshaling, and passenger screening. NAMS employs over 70 people in Anchorage, Kuparuk, and Alpine to service the Q400, while also supporting the oil company with contract maintenance on DHC-6-300/400 Twin Otter and CASA 212-300 aircraft in Alpine.

SUMMARY
Responsible for all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with company and customer maintenance manuals, manufacturers maintenance manuals, and Service Bulletins, Company, and Customer policies and procedures, and applicable FAA regulations by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Avionics Technician is a key team member of Northern Air Maintenance Services (NAMS) responsible for conducting operational testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and avionics systems and components installed in aircraft.
