Pay Range: $105,067 – $157,601 + up to a 10% bonus opportunity

Job Summary

The Data Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and building the enterprise’s master data governance program from the ground up. This role will design and implement the policies, standards, and processes that ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across all operating companies. The Data Quality Manager will work closely with operating company data stewards, Shared Services, and IT to create a sustainable framework for managing enterprise-critical data domains, ensuring governance rules are consistently applied in both systems and reporting.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Design and implement an enterprise master data governance program from scratch, including policies, standards, and naming conventions. 
  • Build and manage the master data lifecycle process, covering creation, updates, validation, and retirement of records.
  • Ensure data adheres to internal policies.
  • Manage data improvement projects: Oversee projects aimed at improving data quality, which may include data cleaning, error management, and root-cause analysis of defects
  • Identify, recruit, and coordinate with data stewards in Operations, Accounting, and other domains to ensure compliance with standards and timely updates.
  • Define and implement data quality metrics; continuously assess the quality of data through evaluation, monitoring, and the use of metrics. identify issues, and drive corrective actions. Develop and oversee approval workflows for master data changes, ensuring proper authorization and audit readiness.
  • Introduce and manage master data governance tools and workflows, including validation and duplicate-prevention processes.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to ensure reporting outputs consistently use validated data definitions.
  • Partner with IT to embed governance rules into our ERP and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users and stewards on master data policies, processes, and quality expectations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in master data management, data governance, or enterprise data quality initiatives.
