Job Summary

As a Facilities Technologist your role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, installation, fabrication and construction duties spanning all of the Company’s facilities. Using pre-existing and newly acquired specialized skills, you would assure adequate and suitable preventative maintenance is routinely performed on equipment, machinery, tools and construction assets of the company.

This role involves continuous interaction and communication with multiple company sites and team members and requires the technologist to educate other employees on facilities related equipment and the importance of maintenance.


Suitability for Position

The ideal person for this role is someone with training and education in electrical equipment operation and maintenance accompanied with an acceptable level of experience in general maintenance. An individual with a broad knowledge of mechanical, electronic and technical equipment-based preventative care and repair is required to be successful in this role.

Someone who can teach basic related principles to operators within the Company is needed to ensure proper treatment of company assets. An individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team including colleagues and third-party vendors/contractors would be suitable for this position.
