Inlet Energy provides excellent customer service to retail, commercial, and government customers in Alaska. Inlet’s team of professionals has the most Certified Lubrication Specialists (CLS), Oil Monitoring Analysts (OMA-1), and Machine Lubricant Analysts (MLA) in the state. Inlet Energy is based out of Anchorage with operations in Kenai, Fairbanks, and Prudhoe Bay. The inlet is also a major fuel distributor for the road system from the Kenai Peninsula to Fairbanks. 

Job Summary

Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey across the beautiful landscapes of Alaska while ensuring vital lubricants reach their destinations safely and efficiently? Join our team as a Lubricant Delivery Driver and play a crucial role in delivering oil, glycol, and packaged products to our valued customers. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operates delivery truck. 
  • Delivers full drums and totes to customer locations. 
  • Operates manual pallet jack. Rolls individual drums from the truck to the customer location. 
  • Pumps bulk fluids from the truck to the customer tank using a hose. 
  • Offloads packaged products from trucks into customer stores or warehouses. 
  • Maintains accurate records of all delivery documents. 
  • Cleans to maintain a professional appearance personally and with the trucks and facility. 
  • This includes washing the truck regularly using fast-paced hoses. 
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT log book. 
  • Perform warehouse duties including picking orders, driving forklifts, repacking bulk lubes and greases, sweeping, data entry, coordinating, and pulling delivery runs. 
  • Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills, and property damage. 
  • Identifies and communicates job hazards. Follows DOT Regulations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED; and two years of commercial driving experience or a combination of both.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Valid Alaska Class B CDL with X endorsement
  • TWIC
  • Hazmat
  • Hazwoper can be acquired after the hire
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • Forklift Certification
  • Clean driving record with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Proven experience in product delivery and navigating ambitious terrains is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads, as well as work in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
