Primary Job Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop, execute, and monitor engaging content for our brand’s presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Track performance and recommend new approaches.
- Content Creation: Work with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to develop content strategy, then write, edit, and publish fresh, compelling content for the company blog, internal newsletters, and social channels. Partner with subject matter experts to highlight achievements and insights across the organization.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning, executing, and supporting company events.
- Marketing Campaign Support: Help implement and track marketing strategies and campaigns—both online and offline. Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Sitka Insights to evaluate and assess campaign engagement and performance.
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)/Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Support: Apply relevant principles to digital content to improve organic reach and performance.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain and coordinate the social, blog, and internal content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communications.
- Charitable Giving Program Coordination: Assist with planning, execution, and communication of our community engagement and charitable giving initiatives. Track donations and share impact stories internally and externally.
- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite (PremierPro, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. Support digital campaigns and event collateral needs.
- Project Management and Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines, supporting the smooth operation of marketing and communications projects.
- Vendor or Agency Liaison: Coordinate with external partners, creatives, and service providers for marketing initiatives and materials.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all messaging, visuals, and deliverables align with organizational brand guidelines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates, campaign progress, and coordination across departments and internal stakeholders.
- Travel for Events/Meetings: Occasionally travel to support events.
- Internal Communications: Draft and edit copy for executive communications, internal change management and/or newsletters, SharePoint updates, support initiatives such as company vision and values rollouts, employee storytelling, and internal events.

Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience managing social media and creating content
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
- Experience in WordPress
- Media relations, public relations, and public affairs experience
- Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven initiative and a curious, proactive approach to learning
- Experience in a matrixed organization and a demonstrated ability to develop relationships and lead with influence
- Proven ability to lead and successfully deliver projects from inception to execution
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently
Preferred (but Not Required)
- Experience in charitable giving, community relations, or event planning
- Understanding and proficiency with AI
- Experience with Squarespace
- Experience with systems implementation and database management
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics)
- Basic understanding of search principles
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field

- Compensation
- Competitive base annual salary range: $115,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Eligibility for annual target bonus of 20% of base salary
- Total Cash Compensation, at target bonus, ranges from $138,000 – $180,000
