What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all aspects of the store’s daily operations, including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, inventory control and management, ordering, and adherence to other key procedures.
  • Consistently reinforces Sunset Mart’s brand identity and operational excellence by ensuring all practices reflect the company’s Core Values and guiding principles.
  • Provide effective leadership through staff recruitment, training, and development. Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans to ensure team alignment with company standards.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by encouraging a welcoming environment, promptly addressing concerns, and maintaining high service standards across all interactions.
  • Drives store profitability by optimizing sales, controlling costs, and analyzing performance metrics, while partnering with leadership to meet financial goals and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that Company Health and Safety Standards are following Federal, State and Local laws at all times including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Operate and maintain all company equipment, and promptly report, document, and investigate any workplace safety incidents, hazards, or injuries to support timely and appropriate correction actions.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Skills & Experience

  • Candidates must meet the legal requirements for acquiring credentials to sell liquor and tobacco products in the state in which we are hiring.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in retail and/or foodservice.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and effective communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, with proficiency in point-of-sale systems and computer applications.
  • Ability to follow Company policies, delegate directions and understand and abide by Local, State and Federal laws pertaining to the sale of Alcohol and Tobacco products and handling of food.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet with or without reasonable accommodation and stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the day.
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including various shifts and days, to support smooth store operations and participate in required meetings and trainings.
