Description
The Lead Station Agent will ensure efficient, safe and effective operations of the North Hangar passenger operations and ensure the Ryan Air flight schedule is followed to enable effective passenger travel.
Responsible for maintaining Ryan Air customer service standards.
Assist in charter operators and client services.
Serve as primary point of contact all aspects of the North Hangar operational needs.
Coordinate vehicle and facility maintenance needs with the Director of GSE-F.
Ensure passengers are checked-in and baggage is weighed appropriately.
Load Ryan Air aircraft with freight and mail.
Escort passengers to and from aircraft.
Supervises the staging of flight loads.
Assists customers with shipping, receiving, or locating their freight orders either in person or on the phone.
Ensures that the proper processes are utilized to accept, store and handle mail and freight
Ensures that all mail and freight received is accurately processed, including input into TakeFlite.
Ensures that an on hand reconciliation is completed daily.
Ensures that backhaul mail and freight is delivered to either the post office or mainline carriers in a timely manner.
Assists the Customer Service Manager with hiring station agents.
Responsible for executing required training of Station personnel.
Maintains a good working relationship with USPS and assists with compliance of the USPS policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining ramp, mail and freight storage areas.
Assist with compliance of Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
Assists Station Manager and Customer Service Manager with station-related reports and records.
Assists Station Manager and Cargo Manager with monthly Safety Meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of high school or equivalent.
Prior airline experience preferred.
This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing up to 8 – 10 hours a day.
Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds.
Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
