Summary
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the trucking brokerage industry via cold calling and networking.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and carriers to maximize profit margins.
- Coordinate with logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and service.
- Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in freight brokerage required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Full-time employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, employee assistance program, 401(k) with company match. Full-time employees will receive up to 10 vacation days, 5 sick days and a florating holiday.
Compensation: Base salary of $50,000–$75,000 per year, plus uncapped commission. Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $75,000-90,000 in first year.
