About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Cardlock Maintenance worker to maintain and service assigned cardlock sites. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, safe, and fully operational fueling environment for customers. The primary responsibilities include routine cleaning, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and monthly inspections. This position may also support operations at the local plant as needed.
What You’ll Do
Customer Service
- Assist customers with any issues encountered at cardlock locations.
- Provide excellent, courteous service and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Report customer concerns to management when necessary.
Essential Functions
Daily Cleaning & Basic Maintenance
- Clean dispensers, restrooms, and fuel islands.
- Check and refill windshield washer fluid.
- Inspect and maintain supplies such as blue towels and toilet tissue.
- Repair or replace hoses, nozzles, breakaways, and other fueling components as needed.
Upgrade & Repair Projects
- Assist with upgrades such as painting, pressure washing, mirror repair, and minor electronic troubleshooting.
Inspections
- Conduct monthly UST (Underground Storage Tank) inspections for cardlock sites.
- Perform weekly inspections for Oregon-based locations (if applicable).
Landscape Maintenance
- Maintain grounds surrounding cardlock locations, including mowing, weed pulling, and spraying.
Customer Assistance & Reporting
- Assist customers with general needs when possible.
- Communicate observations and concerns to management.
Other Duties
- Potential daily deliveries of DEF and lubricants when called upon to do so
- Support troubleshooting of equipment issues.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to work independently and maintain a regular service schedule.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred (training provided).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
- Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varied weather conditions (i.e.: heat, wet, cold, etc.)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
