Essential Duties
- Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures.
Performs electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs. - Prioritizes schedules, repairs and workloads of shop personnel and contractors
Performs part diagnostics, repair, and replacement. - Trains and develops team members.
Safety conscious and enforces ALL policies and procedures.
Excellent Communicator in all forms
Provides directions to those working under their direction
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Drug Test and Physical Evaluation
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Four years Heavy Trailer equipment repair and maintenance experience
- Technical or trade school training desirable
- One- or two-years supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement desirable
- Must possess or acquire tools needed to perform the job
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Products preferred
- Basic knowledge of DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations
- Must become forklift certified
Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. In addition to using computerized diagnostic equipment, mechanics use a variety of power and machine tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, grinding machines, and welding equipment. Hand tools, including pliers, socket and ratchets, and screwdrivers, are also commonly used. The employee is often exposed to a variety of extreme weather and temperature conditions and fluctuations, such as cold, heat, snow, wind, rain, etc.
