This position will be responsible for both operational and personnel aspects of transportation.Job ScopeSupervisory Responsibilities Budgetary ResponsibilitiesYesSupervises 3 salaried employees and 51 hourly employeesHas expenditure authority over $2000Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures the company adheres to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

7 years intermodal, trucking or transportation experience.

License

Local Driver’s License

Travel

Less than 5% to various Tropical Locations

Physical

Office Environment – Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. ability to sit 1/3 – 2/3 of day. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc..) Occasionally exposed to outside elements during the course of traveling.
