Develop, maintain and manage all activities of the Tropical Business Continuity Plan, including business recovery for all company locations.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises exempt and nonexempt employeesBudgetary ResponsibilitiesJob ScopeSupervises exempt and nonexempt employees including security contractors.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily supervision of internal security force.  Oversees contract security forces both in West Palm Beach and Miami and contracts in any port location.  Responsible for the preparation of work schedules, planning of work flow, and implementation of preventative changes.  Develops maintain and manage business continuity plans and business recovery plans for all company locations.  Ensures all documents involved in security, including company policies are current and accurate.  Consults and communicates with all departments on security matters or changes.  Visit various facilities, assist in all areas involving security, ensuring compliances are met.  Makes recommendations on security plans for all port locations.  Responsible for implementation, compliance and updating of ISPS code on a company-wide basis.  Maintains close communications and provides liaison with Port, Local, State, Federal and other governmental security and/or law enforcement agencies.  Investigates all matters of security, i.e., theft, internal security issues.  Performs all other duties as assigned.  QualificationsEducation (Minimum)Associate’s Degree or Equivalent Education in Criminal Justice or in a related field.Experience (custom)Five years experience in security investigation, corporate supervisory, organizational security experience.LicenseValid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport.  Security G License or capable of obtaining G License within three (3) months.Travel20% travel to both domestic and international Tropical locations.PhysicalOffice Environment - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. Ability to sit 1/3 - 2/3 of day.
