Pressure washes and/or sweeps out shipping containers and equipment, treats rusted areas and/or disinfects inside of containers as needed. Cleans and maintains shop, washout, and reefer pre-trip inspection (PTI) areas, including trash removal as needed.
JOB SUMMARY Manage and administer all equipment maintenance activities in St. Croix. Coordinates and develops maintenance of cargo handling shore equipment and other company rolling stock. Create maintenance operating budget and provide recommendations for capital expenditure on cargo handling equipment.EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Business Administration.EXPERIENCE: Seven years in equipment maintenance including supervisory and leadership experience.LICENSE: Valid Local Driver’s License. Valid PassportTRAVEL: 5% travel to other Tropical locations.
