JOB SUMMARYPerforms preventative maintenance on support and freight moving equipment as well as repairs to same.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Performs preventative maintenance on all 1. Fleet Equipment.2. Performs major and minor repairs to Fleet Equipment as needed.3. Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures on equipment as required.4. Researches parts needed for repairs on equipment by using parts manuals and supply books.5. Rebuilds engines, transmissions and their components as necessary.6. Makes service calls to various Tropical departments both domestic and international to facilitateequipment repairs as required.7. Remains on standby duty whenever a ship is being loaded after hours and on weekends. Fuelsequipment in the absence of the Fueler.8. Fills out work orders after every job. Orders parts required to conduct repair and maintenance andfollow-up. Coordinates with the effected departments equipment repairs and services.9. Makes quality fabrications as needed.10.
