JOB SUMMARY Manages the Cargo Claims Department, minimizing the Company’s financial exposure to cargo losses by ensuring all cargo claims are filed and resolved in compliance with applicable company standards and objectives, and within national and international laws, protocols and agreements.   Oversees and handles claims made against the Company, and first-party claims brought by the Company against appropriate insurers.  Assists Director of Risk Management with various aspects of corporate risk management.EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or in a related field.EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in transportation claims specific to ocean carriage and international and or insurance related experience.LICENSE: Valid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport.TRAVEL: 5 % travel to Local and International Tropical locations.
