Delta Western was formed in 1984 to provide fuel for ships, planes, and vehicles along the Western Alaska coastline and Yukon River with a fueling station in Dutch Harbor. Today, Delta Western is to grow independent distributors of petroleum products and lubricants, with fuel terminals in Western and Southeast Alaska. Delta Western delivers an average of 200 million gallons of fuel annually in Alaska and employs approximately 150 people.

Delta Western can source and acquire fuel into our system by improving relationships with fuel importers into Alaska on an emergency notice if needed. Job Summary:
The Office Administrator plays a key role in providing exceptional customer support, scheduling daily deliveries, and utilizing dispatch software for efficient tracking. It requires maintaining accurate records, communicating with team members, and promptly responding to customer inquiries. The role involves order processing, customer payments, and invoicing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone and greets customers and visitors.
- Maintains office filing system, both paper files and electronic files, including delivery documents and customer database.
- Distributes incoming mail.
- Performs errands, such as bank deposits and picking up checks from customers, as needed.
- Manages office supplies and places orders when necessary.
- Performs office cleaning.
- Schedules team members for daily deliveries.
- Communicates with drivers and customers to support safe and timely deliveries.
- Accepts and records orders for products and communicates them to the appropriate person.
- Provides customer support, including invoicing, payment processing, and issuing receipts.
- Assists in developing and maintaining a Cardlock system.
- Supports warehouse operations and coordination as the need arises.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; and 2+ years of office experience, or a combination of education and experience.
