Description
The duties and responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Prepare bank deposits, customer invoices and statements.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Daily enter key data entry of financial transactions into database.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track and record accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Uses accounting computer system to post employees’ expense reports
- Regular attendance is required
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year general office experience.
- Must have good handwriting and be accurate in filing and other clerical task.
- Familiarity with operation of office machines such as copier, fax, etc.
- Good organizational skills.
- Open and willing to assume additional responsibilities above and beyond the job description.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
