Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will deliver excellent service to our HFN program customers and wholesale vendors. This role involves new account member enrollment and orientation, maintenance of customer accounts and resolving issues as they arise. The Customer Service Representative is the face of our wholesale operations and shall be a strong communicator, emphasize with customer concerns and act independently to ensure our customer needs are met.

What You Will Do

  • Provide a high level of service to customers and vendors associated with the wholesale operations of Hawaii Petroleum.
  • Proactively handle all forms of customer inquiries through in-person interactions, phone calls, fax and email.
  • Process payments and maintain customer and company documents in a confidential manner with integrity.
  • Set up and coordinate HFN member services including card maintenance/re-issue.
  • Assist with invoicing for both HFN and Bulk account customers including monthly mailing of HFN invoices and processes associated with collections protocol for overdue customers.
  • Balance cash box daily and prepare deposits for A/R clerk.
  • Compliance with all Federal, State, Local and Company safety, health and environmental regulations as well as attending all Company required training sessions.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Seeking candidates 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Professional level communication and interpersonal skills including verbal and written over multiple platforms including electronically and in person.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask to prioritize projects based on customer needs.
  • Be able to connect with customers, vendors and coworkers in a professional manner as well as handle difficult customers/situations in a calm and professional way.
  • Handle data management with attention to detail and a professional awareness of the integrity, sensitivity and confidentiality associated with data acquired by the Company.
  • Valid Type 3 Drivers License and reliable business appropriate transportation required for work-related errands.
