Description
Cargo Operations:
Report to lead and supervisor on aircraft loading and unloading processes, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
Coordinate with ground handling staff and ensure that cargo is handled safely and efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
Adherence to all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance with airport regulations, airline policies, and industry standards.
Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
Coordination and Communication:
Maintain constant communication with the supervisor about the loading operation
Manage the scheduling and timing of cargo loading and unloading to meet flight schedules.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and present to the supervisor reports on loading operations, incidents.
Equipment Management:
Maintain use and maintenance of cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, K-Loaders, tugs, and dollies.
Ensure that equipment is in good working condition and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve issues that arise during loading operations, such as delays, equipment malfunctions, or staff shortages, and report to ramp lead and supervisor
Implement solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
