JOB SUMMARY Receives, tallies, and loads out cargo.  Operates jockey truck to position containers for loading and unloading and to perform door to door switches.  Maintains a professional attitude and relationship with customers, common carriers, U.S. Customs, and U.S.D.A.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Receives and stows inbound freight with forklift.  Completes tallies and labels cargo.-Operates jockey truck to position containers for loading and unloading and to perform door to door switches.-Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment.-Makes cargo available for U.S. Customs and U.S.D.A. inspections.-Makes cargo available for pick up by consignees and common carriers.-Maintains neatness and cleanliness throughout warehouse and dock area.-Directs the work of temporary personnel, when necessary.-Coordinates transloading of cargo at other receiving areas, when necessary.-Coordinates movement and positioning of containers with Jockey Pool.-Performs all other duties as requested.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE: Six months in warehouse operations.LICENSE: Valid Florida Driver's License and CDL Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.TRAVEL: N/A.
