Job Summary:

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing office personnel, supervising administrative and operational functions across the terminal, gas station, and C-store, ensuring efficient operations through procedure analysis, bookkeeping, personnel management, and information organization, while also actively participating in close month-end activities, optimizing office productivity through software proficiency, establishing systematic record retention procedures, offering guidance to staff, maintaining customer and vendor relations, and engaging in safety meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and organizes office operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, personnel, and information management.
  • Successfully completes month-end activities, including reconciliations.
  • Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of software applications.
  • Develops resources for efficient workflow and establishes uniform correspondence procedures.
  • Formulates procedures for record retention and disposal.
  • Prepares activity reports and makes recommendations for economic decisions.
  • Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.
  • Directly supervises clerical/accounting personnel, including planning, assigning, and directing job responsibilities.
  • Provides secondary supervisory support for other onsite supervisors.
  • Participates in safety meetings and reports injuries, spills, and property damage.
  • Educates staff on safety and environmental concerns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in the petroleum industry, or a combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
