Job DescriptionDesigns, implements, and supports integrations between internal systems and external trading partners using RESTful APIs and EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT). Acts as a customer-facing technical liaison to gather requirements, translate logistics workflows into integration specifications, and ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality data exchange across shipping, inventory, and tracking processes.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesN/ABudgetary ResponsibilitiesN/AJob ScopeWorks across enterprise applications, integration platforms, and partner endpoints to deliver scalable, supportable data flows. Coordinates with Business Analysts, Systems Development, and external partners; manages mapping, transformation, and testing activities; monitors integrations, troubleshoots incidents, and drives continuous improvements in performance, accuracy, and partner onboarding throughput.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesigns, builds, and maintaisn API and EDI integrations, including message mapping, transformation, validation, and exception handling. Onboards and supports trading partners; document endpoints, message formats, and error-handling procedures; create partner-facing guides. Implements and maintains EDI transactions and API resources supporting logistics workflows (e.g., orders, shipments, status updates, invoices). Develops automated monitoring, alerting, and runbooks to improve reliability and mean-time-to-restore (MTTR). Collaborates with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical specifications and test plans. Performs root-cause analysis and corrective actions for integration defects; drive data-quality improvements and preventative controls. Ensures security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data privacy in all integrations. QualificationsEducation (Minimum)Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or in a related field.Experience (custom)Three years designing, implementing, and supporting integrations using RESTful APIs and EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)LicenseValid Local Driver’s License and Valid Passport.Travel10% to Various Tropical LocationsPhysicalOffice Environment – Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. ability to sit 1/3 – 2/3 of day. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc..)
