JOB SUMMARY Administers, configures, implements, supports, and troubleshoots systems and applications related to servers, applications, disaster recovery, cyber security and network.  Reviews, evaluates, recommends, implements, and maintains operating systems, servers, storage and networking hardware and software and cloud technologies.JOB SCOPENo supervisory or budgetary responsibilitiesPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains a knowledge base of current and developing server, network, cloud and security technologies.  Assists staff members with research pertaining to the components that comprise the client/server network. Designs, develops, installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots the physical and virtual server infrastructure including disaster recovery, high availability and load balancing solutions. Designs and implements configurations and topologies to achieve peak system performance.Coordinates the implementation and setup of new client/server networks. Performs a site survey to assess the physical aspects involved in designing a new client/server network. Maintains systems at serviceable levels, coordinating or performing regular software and firmware upgrades.Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves server connectivity and performance issues; monitors, analyzes, and manages network infrastructure traffic and other conditions to achieve optimal performance and uptime; analyzes systems to minimize network infrastructure congestion.Designs, develops, install, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots SANs (Storage Area Networks), including HBAs (Host Bus Adapters), network storage connectivity, and works with storage vendor on SAN installation, upgrades and troubleshooting of problems.Ensures systems and data are secure, backed up and recoverable as needed to meet corporate recovery time objective (RTO). Monitors and enforces enterprise network security policies and guidelines and remote access standards; monitors for network intrusions and security breaches and performs remediation activities; researches and recommends security enhancements.  Trains team members and operational staff members in subjects relating to the management and operation of the client/server network.  Evaluates alternative techniques, products, and procedures for potential inclusion in IS (Information Systems) strategic plans; produces and presents professional written recommendations based on these evaluations.Provides project management resources as required in the roll-out and delivery of the Network. Creates and maintains the appropriate technical and operational documentation.Performs all other duties as assigned.MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION: Associates Degree in Computer Science or Systems & Network Administration or a related technical course of study.  MCSE or MS Windows Server Hybrid Admin highly desirable.EXPERIENCE: Five years of client/server networking and LAN configuration, installation, and troubleshooting with advanced skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare and/or Citrix required.LICENSE: Valid driver’s license and valid Passport.  TRAVEL: 10% travel to other Tropical locations.

Port Mechanic III – Refrigeration

SummaryAssists with various maintenance responsibilities.Duties & Responsibilities:Inspects and tests 20- and 40-foot mechanical reefers and gen-sets. – Performs complete preventive maintenance on mechanical reefers and gen-sets. – Maintains accurate records of work performed. – Performs corrective maintenance on loaded casualty units including using vacuum pump/recovery machine. – Performs soldering and torch usage repairs. Ability to solder copper to brass/stainless. Leak check all components, evacuate, R&R drier and charge unit. Diagnose faulty compressors. Performs basic preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment including but not limited to: chassis underslung, clip-on generators as well as containerized / portable generators. Performs major and minor repairs on engines and generators including diagnosing oil leaks. Diagnose field, safety switch issue repairs. Perform Transfresh Operations.

Container/Chassis MaintenancePerforms tire related service for OTR (and smaller) tires in a shop environment and field environment according to theequipment manufactures recommendations, Tire Industry Association (TIA) recommended procedures while adhering toOSHA regulations. Mounts, demounts, balances and repairs OTR and other tires and wheels as directed. Techs must beable to work alone assessing each job for safety considerations and taking all necessary precautions.Auto MaintenancePerforms preventative maintenance on support and motorized shore equipment as well as troubleshooting and repairs tosame.Refrigeration MaintenancePerforms preventative maintenance on all engines / generators as well as troubleshooting and repairs to same.

Port Equipment Checker

JOB SUMMARYREFRIGERATION MAINTENANCE: Performs maintenance, repair and replacement of load line cords, ends and switches. Monitors loaded refrigeration units for proper operation. Pre-trips refrigerated units and ensures proper maintenance standards prior to container use by customer. Responsible for performing fueling duties and assisting in yard operations, including equipment moves and washing of refrigerated units as needed. Fuels and/or checks all fluids of equipment. Assists with identifying defects of equipment, reports back to leads or manager and maintains a clean work area. PORT MAINTENANCE:  Assists in various shop functions, including but not limited to, fuel and/or fluid checks, power washing of heavy equipment, identifies defects of heavy equipment, reports back to leads or manager, and maintains a clean working area. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE: No previous experience required. Experience operating and/or fueling equipment preferred.LICENSE: Valid local driver’s license. Ability to obtain CDL-Class B with Tanker & Hazmat endorsement.TRAVEL: N/A
