Job Summary:

The Billing Clerk role encompasses exceptional customer support, billing functions, administrative tasks, coordination of fuel deliveries, invoicing, and dispatching duties across multiple sites while maintaining accurate payment records and handling product orders. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers and answers phones in a courteous and friendly manner. 
  • Communicates effectively with customers, other offices, and departments to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Schedules and dispatches daily deliveries. 
  • Maintains database of customers. 
  • Accepts and records orders for product. 
  • Generates and distributes invoices. 
  • Collects and post payments, in addition to providing receipts. 
  • Tracks and maintains accurate records of all documents. 
  • Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills, and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards or service quality risk. 
  • Maintains and orders office supplies. 
  • Performs office cleaning. 
  • Makes bank deposits and performs occasional errands outside the office as needed. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or GED is required. 
  • At least 2 years of office experience or a combination of education and experience is preferred. 
  • Valid Driver’s License.
