JOB SUMMARYOverseas and manages the repair and maintenance programs covering Tropical's fleet of vessels.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Manages voyage repairs.-Manages preventative maintenance program covering Tropical's vessels.-Manages contracted service for designated equipment or repair.-Fills in for General Manager during his or her absence.-Coordinates with General Manager to schedule periodic dry-docking.-Attends and supervises all ships' dry-docking.-Cooperates with Crew Agent in the movement and placement of vessel officers and personnel.-Supervises on-going survey program.-Responds to emergency calls after normal working hours as necessary.-Prepares and submits annual repair and maintenance budget and standards.-Prepares and submits five-year long term budget with annual revision update.-Prepares expense budgets for engineering and marine requirements.-Develop and lays out bid specs for periodic dry-docking of vessel.-Performs all other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marine EngineeringEXPERIENCE: Seven to ten years engineering/shipyard.  One year as Chief Engineerof Motor Vessels, sailing at sea.LICENSE: Chief Engineer's License of Motor Vessels.  Valid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport.TRAVEL: Various Tropical locations.

JOB SUMMARY
Overseas and manages the repair and maintenance programs covering Tropical’s fleet of vessels.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
