Job Summary
This position is responsible to provide strategic and tactical analysis in support of making profitable business decisions.
Essential Duties
• Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures
• Gathers historical revenue data and compares operational costs to determine operating ratios and contribution margins by customer, by lane and by business operation
• Assesses proposals and prospective business opportunities; develops cost associated with the opportunity, expected revenue and profitability impact to the company
• Conducts ROI and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis
• Provides ad hoc project oriented analysis as requested to support decision makers
• Stays situationally aware, monitors business and industry stories, market trends and economic news for any potential impact to opportunities and/or decisions
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in finance and accounting or a related field, i.e. economics
• Professional accounting designation preferred; CPA, CMA
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
KSAs
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Proficiency in other MS Office Suite tool including Word, Outlook an Power Point
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning system and query based reporting packages
• Curiosity and the knowledge of what, how and where to look for information that leads to potential opportunities and answers
• Self-motivation, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communications skills, verbal, written and listening
• Must be able to interact positively with other departments
• Strong reporting and analytical skills

- The salary range is $95,000-120,000, with an expected salary of $108,000, depending on experience and qualifications
