Description

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

1. Initiate, execute and sign forms, tags, and other paperwork in accordance with the appropriate maintenance manuals. Review all paperwork for completeness and signatures. Release aircraft for service in accordance with Aloha Air Cargo or contract carrier’s Maintenance Log procedures.

2. Responsible for supervising and directing the work of Mechanics and other personnel assigned to his section and is a working member of the group.

3. Responsible for supervising the repair, servicing and maintenance of aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe, avionics and components.

4. Accountable for the general up keep of ground equipment in support of all Line Maintenance activities under his/her supervision.

5. Accountable for production and assistance in interpretation and resolution of aircraft discrepancies.

6. Responsible for giving instruction and training to employees of any classification except Inspectors.

7. Ensures proper distribution of manpower for work performance efficiency.

8. Responsible to conduct on-the-job training (OJT) of personnel in his/her area of responsibility.

9. Makes certain that all safety and accident prevention measures are followed and corrected action taken as warranted.

10. Performs all duties and special assignments as directed by the Supervisor – Line Maintenance or Maintenance Management personnel.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalency.

• Must possess valid driver’s license and current Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.

• Three years A&P experience required.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.

Compensation

This position has a pay range of $29.96 to $35.31 plus $6.00 for A&P licenses, and $2.50 lead pay per hour.
