Sales Coordinator – St. Vincent

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for providing support to Sales Representatives as needed through correspondence, rate quotes and service announcements to customers within the assigned sales territory. Acts as liaison between customers and various departments within Tropical to resolve sales related issues in an effort to assist the Sales Representative in maximizing customer satisfaction as well as enhancing the customer’s supply chain effectiveness with convenient and reliable transportation solutions. Within TLink, assigns new customers to a sales territory. Assists Sales Representative with maintaining customer-base within SFA/CRM. Acts as internal support contact to coordinate sales and service issues for customers within assigned territory in person or by telephone. This includes making joint calls on assigned sales representatives  accounts, developing telephone relationships with assigned territories customer base, representing Tropical at Trade Shows and industry meetings, or Tropical port locations as necessary. Contact current and potential customers to solicit new and additional business using telephone, faxing, letter, email, face to face sales calls and networking.Create rate matrices within assigned sales territory. Coordinates all approvals for exceptions to service standards. Port Mechanic IV

JOB SUMMARY    Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on support and heavy freight moving equipment systems: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical. JOB SCOPENo supervisory or budgetary responsibilities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Performs preventative maintenance on all heavy equipment including but not limited to: mobile harbor cranes, straddle carriers, reach stackers, rotators and spreaders.-Performs major and minor repairs to heavy equipment as needed.-Operates, inspects and troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures on equipment as required and diagnose defects.-Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.-Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists, rigging equipment and hand tools.-Researches parts needed for repairs on equipment by using parts manuals and supply books.-Rebuilds engines, transmissions and their components as necessary.-Makes service calls to various Tropical departments both domestic and international to facilitate equipment repairs as required.-Remains on standby duty during ship loading after hours and on weekends.  -Fills out work orders after every job.  Orders parts required to conduct repair and maintenance and follow-up.  Coordinates with the effected departments equipment repairs and services.-Makes quality fabrications as needed.-Keeps work area clean and organized.-Participates in training seminars and workshops when necessary.-Performs all other duties as required.MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:    High School Diploma and vocational technological graduate with certificate in equipment maintenance and repair preferred.EXPERIENCE:    Minimum 3 years experience in heavy equipment repair, maintenance and operation.LICENSE:    Valid Local Driver’s License – Non-Commercial Class E. Cargo Handling Specialist

Senior Dispatcher

JOB SUMMARY Oversees, schedules, monitors, and prioritizes Vendor trucking activities according to booking, vessel departure, and service standards. Maintains controls over equipment utilization, customer satisfaction, and adherence to tight time frames.
